The Central Districts teams had great success at the 2025 Regional Championships, with the Intermediate Team winning their division, and the Senior Team placing second. Warmest congratulations to Martin Berry, Murray Carter, Annette Weaver and Audrey Young (the Intermediates) and to Mairi Fitzsimons, Frank Nieuwland, Noel Woodhall and Carolyn Yeomans (the Seniors). Rounding out the picture, the CD Open Team finished fourth, and the Womens Team sixth. This collection of results meant that Central Districts were co-winners (with Wellington Region) of the Dougal McLean trophy! Well done to all team members and our Chef, Colin Carryer.
